Long gone are the days of traditional brainstorming, as is the notion that only people in the ‘creative department’ are capable of applying creativity to critical thinking. Now we’re regularly asked to work as a team to quickly, consistently, and strategically overcome challenges – be they creative, strategic, internal or external.

With the different mindsets and approaches in most organizations, what’s needed to achieve real results is a process that allows all players to methodically work through challenges, turn them into opportunities, exhaust all possibilities and deliver new, breakthrough ideas and solutions on demand. Sound too good to be true? Not with The Idea Laboratory.

About the workshop

First, we arm participants with the insights and understanding necessary to free their minds and tap into their ideation super-potential. We help them identify their personal ideation preferences, transcend their neural paths, defer judgment and ‘upshift’. Then, we walk and work them through the ideation process starting with the invaluable skill of investigating and clarifying the issue to ensure they’re always tackling the right challenge. Next come a series of intensive brainstorming techniques designed to tap into all types and free up a multitude of new, unusual and in depth ideas. After that, teams experience the process of convergence where they hone, combine and solidify their ideas. And finally, they learn ‘GOODTM’ – a technique for testing, strengthening and even selling their ideas.

Not only will The Idea Laboratory harness participants’ creative power to ensure their true potential is being unleashed, they’ll experience a step-by-step intensive ideation session using your real-world challenges. By workshop’s end, they won’t just leave armed with an inspirational yet stringent process they can duplicate at will, but with pages of killer ideas too.
